As we leave 2016, we also say goodbye to the year of Rose Quartz and and Serenity. While we may miss these calming pastels we’ve eagerly anticipated each new 2017 Color of the Year announcement.
Benjamin Moore has made a bold color choice with Shadow (2117-30) as their 2017 Color of the Year. Shadow is a dramatic choice perfect for an accent wall. We look forward to creating striking color combinations using this exciting new hue.
Sherwin Williams took a more neutral stance in their choice of Poised Taupe (SW 6039) as the 2017 Color of the Year. Poised Taupe is earthy, warm and comforting; what’s not to love? We can’t wait to find the perfect living room to cozy up with this new neutral.
The 2017 Pantone of the year is Greenery 15-0343! We’ve been seeing (and encouraging) a lot of bold color choices lately and believe 2017 will be a celebration of these choices. After Misha’s prediction being a bold emerald or strong navy we felt pretty enthusiastic with Pantone’s 2017 unveiling. Greenery evokes our desire to unite with nature in our daily spaces. We love an interior wall popped in this enchanting color as well as furniture and accessories that scream green!
