A Sacramento Interior Decorators Shopping List
Not only are we interior designers, we’re interior decorators as well! As a Sacramento interior decorator, Misha has a few places she frequents to find those finishing decorative touches to any interior design. We can’t spill all our secrets, but here’s a few of our favorite places as Sacramento interior decorators.
We’ll start big and then go small. Strolling through Lumens often leads to interior enlightenment (pun definitely intended). Lumens’ wide variety of lights, fans, and other fun items is always changing and never fails to supply one or more of our current Sacramento interior decoration projects. While Lumens may be a large company, we are always impressed by their genuine attention to our project goals and feel lucky to live in the same city as their flagship showroom!
Check out these sleek Trove pendants from Niche Modern we found at Lumens that beautifully compliment this remodeled Sacramento kitchen. (here are more pictures of this project!)
On a more local level, Scout Living often has some fun items to offer to Sacramento interior decorators. Even if you don’t find the perfect item, it’s always fun to check out the vintage items available- they seem to find the best pieces in the Sacramento area! All of us at DBM often swoon over vintage and new pieces alike, and a visit to scout always leads to a myriad of “oooohs” and “awws” as we sit and stare at the most recent vintage furniture selection in Sacramento. Check out this lovely coffee table found at Scout. This vintage piece perfectly complements and warms an otherwise all-new space.
Interior decoration often calls for livening up a space with some plants. We’ve found one of the better indoor plant selections at Exotic Plants Ltd. in the Arden area of Sacramento. This hole in the wall shop always has a huge variety of healthy indoor plants that complete any interior decoration shopping mission. If you aren’t sure what plant to look for check out our Growing Greenery blog post for some quick tips to selecting the best plant for your space!
